MRTG will monitor interfaces with IP addresses assuming the system being
monitored supports it/is configured properly In the target put /<ip
address>:public@<main ip address of system> The first IP address in your
situation would be an ip addresses applied to a specific modem. A WAN
address. This is not a common thing to be supported by the modem, so it
might not work for you.

Hy list,
I want MRTG to monitor several leased lines connected
to my server...but the problem is that everytime a
leased line disconnects and connects again gets an
different pppx interface and i want MRTG to monitor
the same modem even if it changes his pppx interface..
it would be more confortable if MRTG would monitor
interfaces against IP address.
