[mrtg] Upgrade wierdness with PNG's?

I was testing MRTG on my NT 4.0 Workstation at SP6a using IE 5.5 and
Netscape 4.75, everything seemed happy.

When I tried to move the 2.9.4 over the top of my NT 4.0 SP6a server that
was already running MRTG 2.8.12 by editing the mrtgkick.bat file to point to
the BIN directory instead of RUN, everything seems to work except the
displaying of the graphs. The goofy thing is, the graphs ARE being generated
properly, I see the data if I browse the machine locally with Windows
Explorer, but the HTML files that are being built up are giving IE and
Netscape the fits. Mostly looks like they are replacing periods with
underscores in various places.

When I try to surf the pages locally (not going through MS Peer Web Server)
they work fine. I noticed the names of everything has changed from
<ip>.<inf>.html to <ip>_<inf>.html

Could that have broke something?

Any ideas?
Ni
