Can anyone help me regarding SNMP Alerts ?

I would like to know the Structure & implied meaning of the SNMP Alerts from Cisco Router.
Is there any related links on web / articles which deals with the Structure & Standards of SNMP
Alerts in general and Explanation about Cisco Specific Alerts.!!!!
