[mrtg] MRTG + SNMPD (RedHat7.1) how ?

please i want to monitor my Linux with MRTG (TX/RX
packets, ICMP -like echo reply&post-)
Can some one senddme (or to mailing-list is better)
the options that i must give to cfgmaker to monitor
ICMP.
with 
#cfgmaker public at MY_TUX

All i have is the RX&TX how to add ICMP.

Please i am lost with no idea !!!
