The answer to this question is many times, yes. And to further complicate 
this when the mibs do work in GetIf the descriptions are truncated from 
view. Cisco mibs are getting very verbose and long and because of this 
truncating (on the tail end) you still can't see the description text you 
need. Unfortunately GetIf (which is *very* handy) needs a bit of a tweak 
but I have not seen a newer version in quite some time.
