[mrtg] System Requirements for MRTG

I have a virtual machine I can get you with suse (linux) and mrtg installed if you want. Just install Vmware server (free edition) then open/ru the vm. 

This will give you a head start so you an get right into configuring mrtg.

Let me know and I will put it up so it can be dwnloaded.

Microsoft system requirements are always higher as compare to Linux. 
 
Currently I m polling around 100 Targets on Linux base machine with 800Mhz, 512Mb Ram, Working like a charm without any problem.
 
For microsoft, It depends on howmany targets u want to monitor , 
with few targets, I guess normal P3 with will do the fine.
