Hi again,

I'm modifying my MRTG cfg file to work with Windows2003 targets.

On Windows2000 I use OIDs starting with 1.3.6.1.2.1.25....... for CPU, Disk space, Memory etc.

These OIDs don't work on vanilla Windows2003.

Anyone know where these OIDs have been relocated to, or are they not available without 3rd party software on Windows 2003?

many thanks

I have started running into alot of devices that use version 2c or 3. Do you have the snmpwalk tool? I find this program to be a great help when trying to diagnose snmp. On linux I usually do this (using your settings from above): 'snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.0.0.1' If snmp is setup properly and responds to version 1 then you should start getting a scrolling screen of data. If not, I then try with '2c' and then '3' for the different versions. If none of these work then usually snmp is not setup correctly.
>
> HTH,

> --
> Wes Hegge
>
> - If the phone doesn'1 ring.
