[rrd-users] rrdfetch question

Hi 
 
I'm trying to use "rrdtool fetch" but the data I am getting is different
from the data that I am calculating.
 
I.E I have a counter RRD which gets fed every 5 minutes
 
I put into the rrd file the following two 
 2277961,14751665
    2278184,14755867
 
A): 14755867-14751665 = 4202
b): 2278184 - 2277961 =223
 
when I do rrdtool fetch, I get: 
1.0965502156e+01 for A
2.7590127695e+00 for B
 
should I multiply these by 300s, but even if I do, I get different numbers
Could someone explain this?
