[smokeping-users] smokeping and speedycgi

Hello smokeping-users,

I´m trying to setup smokeping 1.5 on a Solaris 8 machine, Apache 1.3.22,
perl 5.6.1 - but I´m
stuck with SpeedyCGI 2.11 :-(

Running make ends up with this:

gcc -DSOLARIS2=280 -DUSE_EXPAT -I../lib/expat-lite -DNO_DL_NEEDED

apxs:Break: Command failed with rc=16777215
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `mod_speedycgi.so'
Current working directory /root/CGI-SpeedyCGI-2.11/mod_speedycgi
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `subdirs'

Sam Horrocks says it sounds like an API change of apache which he´ll figure
out - he recommends
to use an older version of Apache.

Is anyone running an equal setup successfully ??? If yes can you send me a
copy of mod_speedycgi.so ??
