<p dir="ltr">Seriously. If Smokeping is complaining that the config files are not there - there are two options.</p>
<p dir="ltr">1) They really aren't there with the name you've specified.</p>
<p dir="ltr">2) If #1 isn't the answer, [and you're really, *really* sure] then the process smokeping is running as doesn't have permissions to the config file.</p>
<p dir="ltr">3) The final option, though I don't believe I've ever seen , is some syntax error in the config file that gives a bogus error message.</p>
<p dir="ltr">There really aren't any other options.<br>
Obviously 1 & 2 are where you should look.<br>

Run smokeping in debug mode "--debug"<br>
This would help diagnose problems with smokeping not
being able to *write* the data to the RRDs<br>

Review the apache logs. In particular, you're
looking for errors [403's, IIRC] and the like. This
indicates a problem *reading* the RRD files.<br>

Fixing the issue is left as an exercise for the
reader.<br>
