Just installed.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Smokeping is configured to simply ping my router, and I’m accessing SmokePing from local Firefox at <a href="http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi">http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi</a>.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I get a nice SmokePing page, but *<b>all</b>* .png files don’t show … not even the rrdtool.png or smokeping.png …<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Looking at the Apache access.log, I see the problem. It’s asking for files like /smokeping/images/rrdtool.png and getting a 404 status back. This is happening with all .js scripts, too. If I point Firefox at the file:// location of the rrdtool.png, the .png fetches just fine.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Looking at the owners of all of these .png and .js files, I see root:root, but changing them to smokeping:www-data doesn’t change anything. Their permissions are set to 644 anyway.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I’m afraid I’m out of ideas … why would Apache report not being able to see them?? <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>(BTW, my /etc/smokeping/Apache2.conf has /smokeping aliased to /usr/share/smokeping/www, which seems right. Symlinks seem to be enabled for this directory.)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Any suggestions??<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>(All of these behaviors are essentially the unaltered install-out-of-the-box.
