Hello everyone,

I am using smokeping now for a little while, monitoring my DSL and various other stuff I came around.
I had a discussion with a colleague, we stumbled about the TCP congestion control when using the FTPtransfer probe.
Does anyone know how the probe is handling the parameters like

congestion control (congestion window)

slow start

and Congestion Avoidance?

FTP is TCP so it might be affected, am I right?

Would be glad, if anyone could help.

Kind Regards
