[mrtg-developers] Problem with RRDtool counter

Hi,
  I use both mrtg with and without rrdttol to monitor
same device at the same time. The one without rrdtool
look good,but another have a problem .The graph value
raise from 1.98 Mbps to 9.1 Pbps and then fall to 1.78
Mbps( most of the values is about 1.5Mbps-3.0 Mbps).
I've examined the rrd file and I've found the data
value in current time less than the value in previous
time. Maybe this is happen because of couter wraps. So
the result of calculation in rrd goes wrong and make
the graph wrong.
I'd like to know Is there any way to solve this
problem or anything I can do to prevent this situation
happen.
