[mrtg-developers] mrtg log file

hi, i have a question regarding the mrtg log file.
when the graphs are created (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly), are all
lines from the log used for the final result or just the ones
corresponding to 5minutes, 30minutes, 2hours, 1day?

please help
