[mrtg-developers] MRTG Script Intervals

Hi,

I have a set of MRTG tasks running on our system at the moment, which use the default execution interval (5 minutes). They have been daemonized to run regularly.  According to the documentation, it should be possible to reduce this execution interval to under 5 minutes by adding the line 
INTERVAL:2
or some such value, to the cfg file.

Unfortunately, when I do this, the script runs once and then closes down, despite the daemon. Using a value of over 5 minutes for the INTERVAL setting works with no problem.

Has anyone on this list come across this problem?  Or is 5 minutes the lowest repeat interval that MRTG scripts can accomodate?

I would be grateful for someone's insight on this matter.
