[mrtg-developers] Walking Routers With Serial Interfaces

Has anyone saw issues when walking serial0/0 or s0/0/0 interfaces?

Cisco TAC is telling me MRTG is trying to use the ifX tables which are 64-bit counters, and on serial interfaces those require the iftable only which are 32-bit counters.

I am getting NO_SUCH_INSTANCE_EXCEPTION and MRTG doesn't populate the data.

Does anyone have any suggested workarounds or fixes?

Kind Regards,
