[mrtg] Problems Creating mrtg.cfg

I am attempting to run MRTG for the first time on an Alpha running NT4.

When I type: perl cfgmaker public at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx >mrtg.cfg

I receive "Got Addresses" "Got IfTable", but the mrtg.cfg file which I
created is empty except for two lines and a row of
#----------------------------------

The two lines pertain to the device and the working directory.

There is no html code pertaining to the device and SNMP information as I
would expect.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
