[mrtg] mrtg graphs/stats are always 0

Hi,

I am trying to graph mailstats on my mail server. If I snmget the OIDs, I
get some values. But mrtg always graphs them as 0 (both in the graph and in
the stats). My cfg file is as follows:

I have used a large number for maxbytes because I don't care about percents.
My log file for this targe is also strange. The top few lines are:

It seems that the current value returned by the OIDs is placed in the log
file and the old one is zeroed out. What could be wrong?
