[mrtg] Re: Ascend Pipeline 50/75/85

      This boxes have a strange implementation. When the connection is
broken
and then reestablished,  the interface number changes, and MRTG
get lost. 
        What you would need to do is use an external script to :
        given the ip of the connection, extract the interface number,
        and with this interface number, get the inBytes and outBytes.

        Or,
        use in the mrtg.cfg the ip of the connection,

        Target[my target]: 0.0.0.0:community at router.
        And add in the mrtg file ( the perl script ) a line to delete
  the mrtg.ok file, because when the wan number changes, mrtg will
complain and stop updating the graphics.
