[mrtg] Any good linuxers in here

I could use a little help here.  I simply want to disable job control for a given login or even globally.  Or, remap the suspend sequence ctrl-Z to something else.  Basically, I want my cntrl-Z for an application, and job control is interfering.  I know this is an off list topic, but any help would be appreciated.
