[mrtg] mrtg raw data log

Hello,

There are some days that traffic in my network BURST to a peak, thus offsets
the weekly an monthly an yearly graphs. I assume that the data derives from
the log file. Is there a method which we can edit the log format? Or perhaps
interpret the log?
