[mrtg] unknown OID problem

Hi all,

I'm trying to read a value in a 3com managed hub for which I do not have
a MIB. I thus simply used the quoted number style instead of a name.
That number was found using snmpwalk and it's 16.1.1.1.4.1.

Whenever I run the mrtg command though I get the following error
message:

[root at noc run]# ./mrtg 3com.cfg
cannot encode Object ID 16.1.1.1.4.1: first subid too big in Object ID
16.1.1.1.4.1 at /SNMP_util.pm line 958.
SNMPGET: Failed to reach target:
"16.1.1.1.4.1&16.1.1.1.4.1:public at XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX". I tried multiple
times!
[root at noc run]#

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks!
