Are you sure? How?
Have you tried "snmpget device password .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.106" ?

What brand of router? OS version?

[deleted stuff about counter,absolute,gauge]

When to use

gauge: The "counter" should be logged "as is". This could be
          a temperature reading for instance.
absolute: The counter starts to count from zero. When you read it,
you get to know the increase, then the counter resets to zero.
counter: As for absolute, only there is no reset. This is the most
common one and therefore the default.

There is no point in trying these options random. The graph may look
correct at first but you can't rely on it.

Make sure to *know* what to do, not to guess.

regards,
