You can do it one of two ways, you can look for the MIB file for the SNMP
package on your system, or you can walk the OID tree and look for the
identifier.  What type of unix are you running, and what SNMPd package are
you running?

I was thinking about monitoring just the basic CPU, Disk, Memory, and
Network components. Do you mean the snmpd daemon will allow mrtg to read
thes variables already?? If so, where can I find the OID or object names
for these target variables??
