[mrtg] MRTG-Mailstats

Ok, I know this has been in here before, and I have looked at the documentation, and I still cannot get this to work. I have been trying for quite some time now on and off, and could really use some help. I have a linux mailserver, that I would like to graph using mrtg. I have the scripts, and have made the changes to the services, and inetd.conf, and put the smtp-stat script out there and everything, but cannot get this to work. Can someone who has gotten this to work help go through what they had to do to get this to work? I would really Really appreciate it. Thanks
