[mrtg] wrong logs?

I finally got MRTG setup to monitor an assortment of things for an
ISP including # of used dialin ports, traffic out of their CSU-DSU,
and traffic out of each terminal server. One problem though. The TS
traffic monitor is getting any data. The log looks like this:

942739804 4206112273 1343514985
942739804 0 0 0 0
942739502 0 0 0 0
942739500 0 0 0 0
942739200 0 0 0 0

It returns no error (except for one TS which always gives an error
and times out the first few times). My cfg looks like this:

WorkDir: /home/httpd/html/stats/sktc

Options[ts-io-XXX.53.112.3]:  gauge

I don't see anything wrong. I tried abosolute in the options line as
well. Question, can anyone explain in layman's terms what guage and
absolute are actually for. The config docs were of absolutely no
help there. It even confused me more. I don't think that's the
problem though. Each TS has 64 PPP ports (except for one, long
story). They all have two ethernet ports though, 1 BNC and 1 AUI. I
believe the AUI is the 2nd port (hell even Computone themselves
couldn't tell me). Only the AUI is used from what I've been told.
Weird thing is that both port 1 and 2's inOctets are increasing.

interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets.1 = 1006379267
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets.2 = 2108053602

That doesn't really make sense to me. Anyhow, MRTG isn't storing any
data. I'm not even sure if its getting any of the data. Can anyone
offer any tips here? I'm thoroughly confused. TIA!

Justin
