[mrtg] Re: compling gd

1.  To solve "libxxxx.so  not found" errors (on Solaris), I added an
    explicit LD_LIBRARY_PATH assignment to the "run_mrtg" wrapper.

    #!/bin/sh
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:/usr/openwin/lib:/usr/dt/lib:/usr/ucblib:/usr/local/lib
    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    cd /usr/local/mrtg
    ./mrtg mrtg.conf


2.  I just installed Apache (1.3.9) , pretty much w/o any changes, and
    everything worked fine.  My browsers are Netscape Navigator 4.x
    (Solaris, Linux, Win*) and IE 4.x (Win*).  I think the magic
    telling a HTTP server about a file's type is in the "mime.types" file.
    The Apache distribution already had "image/png        png".
