[mrtg] mrtg.cfg: cannot create

Hi Everyone:

I'm new to using MRTG, and unfortunately I am also the one in charge of
keeping it running.  I used the command line below to add another router to
MRTG.  I have tried it with various host names lately and I have been unable
to get any added.  See output below.

$ ./cfgmaker public at 99-050028 >> mrtg.cfg
mrtg.cfg: cannot create

Can someone please explain what that error means?  I would be most
appreciative.
