I would use the utility blat.exe.  It has worked great for me in the past.  You should be able to it track down on the Internet.  I cannot remember where I found it; if I did, I would include the link here.

On the topic of thresholds, I was wondering how it were possible to send an
e-mail from the command line in NT/98.  I would use threshold monitoring to
execute an external script, containg code to send an e-mail describing the
alert.

Anyone have a good idea how to do this?
