[mrtg] mrtg nad databases

has anyone (or heard of anyone) setting up a database to record all of the snmp
info, and have mrtg connect to it to do it's reports??

reason I am wanting to do this, is beacuse I am going to have to setup mrtg to
monitor and report bandwith results for several thousand ip addresses.  It would
make things MUCH easier if I had one database server and a cluster of mrtg
servers.
