[mrtg] A simple question

Hi,

I have been using MRTG 2.7.4b on a Linux box and would like to upgrade it to
MRTG 2.8. 

1) can I use my log files from 2.7 version with te new version?
2) I am not be able to view PNG files in my browser, any suggestion?
