Not to be picky, but....not everyone can do that. While some of
us (yours truly included) has the ability to get new (free) browsers
without a problem, there are cases where this is not possible. A good
example would be cases where whatever company this individual is working
for restricts the usage of other, non-approved applications. Having been
around on the net for the past 9 years, and working at different places, I
can say for sure that there are companies who don't bother upgrading their
applications, nor do they allow new ones to be downloaded from the net.
(the government being one of those rather large entities)
Another example would be when the bandwidth will run the download
into several hours. And while one could order a CD 'for free', you still
have to pay for shipping.
A possibility is to get the PNG plugin for whichever browser *e's
using, should the upgrade path not be available.
