[mrtg] Graphing between certain hours

I am new to PERL and my script knowlegde very little.


I have a requirement to monitor on an interface on my router bewteen the
hours of 8am and 5pm and pull the average percentage between those hours.
Is there any way of doing that either through MRTG normal settings or script
and pulling from log files or some other way.
