at the bottom of this message is a portion of my cfg file
I am trying to monitor errors on some 3com switches
mrtg-2.8.11 nt4 sp5

what should I use for maxbytes.
the number never gets reset so it keeps on growing
what is the largest possible entry for maxbytes in the cfg file?

In read the mrtg mib doc.it mentions using the absolute option.
but looking at the config file format manual it says that absolute is for data
sources wheich reset their values onece read.. these do not.
Thanks in advance
