[mrtg] Dsl atm interfaces

I've got a Cisco 2600 acting as a DSL router for my DSL users. I currently
have mrtg monitoring the "layer" and not the actual interface for each DSL
user. MRTG would squawk when I tried to set it up to monitor the interface.
My problem is that if the router gets rebooted all of the layer's will
change. What is the best way to monitor my individual DSL user traffic with
mrtg?
