Sorry, I think I left something out. In getif, I see something I want to
monitor with MRTG, so then can I just cut and past that long number into a
mrtg.cfg file and stop and start it to start graphing that?

Thanks

Just copy the file to the 'mib' directory. Getif will automagically read the
files in this directory when it opens.

I have installed getif and have found a few mibs or oids, which ever they
are that I would like to monitor. What do I need to know to add these to a
.cfg file and starting monitoring them? Can I just cut and past the number
like

.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.1.1

If there is info on doing this somewhere, a link would be nice.

Thanks
