[mrtg] Re: SNMP UpTime

    I know, it's corny replying to one's own email - but, I may need to
clarify it..

    I ran cfgmaker against the server's SNMP daemon to get the config
files
for it's ethernet cards.  I'm plotting those on graphs now.  It's that
'uptime' I'm talking about.  net-snmp (formerly known as ucd-snmp)
defines
both a system.sysUpTime.0 (which is the snmp daemon uptime) as well as a
host.hrSystem.hrSystemUptime.0 (which is the physical machine's uptime).

    MRTG seems to grab the daemon's uptime, as opposed to the server
uptime.
