[mrtg] 100 Mbit/s Bandwidth Utilization

I'm trying to use MRTG to graph the bandwidth utilization on a 100Mbit/s
link but I haven't had much luck.  Looking at the log file, MRTG never
gathers a second value to graph but the first value keeps on changing.  Has
anyone exprienced this?  Does anyone have a workaround to graph BW on a
100MBit/s link?
