[mrtg] mrtg-2.8.12

Hi all

I have copied the new mrtg executable into my /run directory (from
2.8.11) and now I have found that it has started creating gif files
instead of png files again???

I thought that from 2.8.11 the behaviour was to create png files. As
soon as I copied the new executable in, gif files started appearing.

Clarification on this behaviour would be appreciated. Is the future
direction of MRTG to go with PNG or GIF?
