I would suggest creating a separate config file for each device. We do
this and monitor over 100 routers and over 200 access servers. Just create
a config file with one router's interfaces (router1.cfg) and run each one
independently. Your crontab will be quite large, but that is a minor
concession. Whenever you only do one router at a time, there is also
virtually no chance it will take more than a few seconds to run...
