Write down B for byte and b for bit.

Find out the speed of the interface in bits.  Do not estimate by taking
the number of 64kbps channels, find out the real value.

You need to forget about 1024 == kilo.  Kilo == 1000.  Mega==1000k.

10 mbps ethernet:  10,000,000 bps -> 1250000 Bps -> 1250 kBps
100 mbps: 12500 kBps or 12.5 mBps

T1: 1544 (!!!) kbps -> 1544000 bps -> 193000 Bps -> 193 kBps
E1: 2 mbps -> 2000000 bps -> 250 kBps
