I just setup MRTG to monitor Sendmail msgsfrm and msgsto.
I'm curious, is this a place I would us guage? I know I use it for
things like my disk usage graphs but would I use it here? I'm
parsing the output of 'mailstats /var/log/sendmail.st' for the
current value every 5 minutes. I'm preforming no math on it, just
returning raw values.
I'm also have a problem with the an almost identical graph
monitoring bytes_to and bytes_from. I'm using a the same script,
except for an altered awk pattern. Its returing the values in
kilobytes, which is what mailstats uses:

Statistics from Thu Dec 9 10:20:05 1999
M msgsfr bytes_from msgsto bytes_to msgsrej msgsdis Mailer
  5 280269 6280393K 98951 5455877K 60 0 esmtp
  8 77647 4978371K 314566 7804808K 321 0 local
=============================================================
  T 357916 11258764K 413517 13260685K 381 0

The text below my graphs are fine. What I'm having trouble with is
Y. I have a peak of 9379.0 kilobytes. On the lefthand side is lists
the peak at 9.6k (I know it rounds to make it prettier). How can I
make it say 9.6M or 9379K instead? That's the only real problem I'm
having right now, other than the question above. Anyone have any
ideas? TIA

Justin
