You use:
perl cfgmaker (community)@(router-host-name or IP) > nameofthecfgfilehere.cfg
Use the IP/hostname of your local box, and the community (i.e. public). This will create a cfg file with settings
for each port/nic on your machine (i.e. eth0, et1, localhost, ppp... etc).
Cut/paste the one you want for eth0, or hash out the others.

Subject: [mrtg] How do I do this?
Hello All,
I currently use MRTG 2.8.11 to monitor traffic from NT Servers,
A cisco 4700, etc...it runs on my linux box (pent-133, 32MB, 5.1GB HD
2 Intel NIC's)...How can I monitor the traffic that is going through
eth0 in my own box (silly question I know)
-Bill
