This is not necessarily an MRTG error, it may also be the device that
has a buggy snmp implementation.  Try accessing it using your favorite
snmp query tool and (if this succeeds) build a config file by hand.

The OID mentioned is the index number for interface 2 and the SNMP
util that is used by MRTG seems to have a problem with this number.

Try snmp walk on:
   1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1
   1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2 
   1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10
   1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16

Beware!  At high enough speeds, you run into a problem when using the
32-bit counters.  Read the archive; there are many discussions on this
topic!
