[mrtg] Need mrtg to notify me when ports reconfigured

Hi there,

I realize that this may be a stupid question, but I need MRTG to notify me
when a port is reconfigured on a router. Is it possible for it to do that
(or even change it itself)?

It is running on a Mandrake 6.0 box, and it is version 2.8.8. I am not using
the cfgmaker script to build my config files - just grunt work ;)

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated...
