[mrtg] mrtg error.. substituition loop

can somebody shed some light on this.. here is my error and below is
some more info..

[root at hybrid-catv mrtg]# ./mrtg /usr/local/mrtg/configs/ts3600.cfg
Substitution loop at /SNMP_Session.pm line 286.
[root at hybrid-catv mrtg]# 


the snmp seems to be ok because the cfgmaker gathered the interfaces
correctly..
"line 286" isnt anything unnormall.. here is that info...

this device is shutdown anyway though...

this is a cisco 3640 with a dual t1 controller module, 24 digital modems
module, 8 port bri module, and a 2 serial / 2 ethernet module...


please help.. i cant get anything to work :(
if you would like aditional info please just ask.. i dunno if this is
enough or too much
