Good question - *checks*
[tdckh at tools /tmp]$ snmpget box-137 public system.sysUpTime.0
system.sysUpTime.0 = Timeticks: (312186800) 36 days, 3:11:08.00
[tdckh at tools /tmp]$ snmpget box-137 public system.sysName.0
system.sysName.0 = "box-137"
Looks fine... looks the same on less troublesome maxen, too.
