[mrtg] Re: scaling...bits and bytes

MRTG doesn't necessarily scale anything. Many MIB objects such as
ifInOctets and ifOutOctets are reporting things in bytes so the
conversion is to make things into bits after having read them from the
SNMP device.

The Options[...] bits flag in your MRTG config file should do the trick
