Upgrade your IOS to 12.0T or above and the sub-interfaces should have unique
SNMP IF #s that you can then reference.

Subject: [mrtg] Serial Sub-Interfaces

Hi all.

Sorry to ask a question here if this is not the right place.

I am graphing the throughput on Cisco 36/2600 routers. It works fine for
the main serial interfaces, using the oid of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.6.x and
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.8.x (where x is the interface number).

Does anyone know how I do Sub interfaces??? ie, Serial0/0 is easy, but
Serial0/0.1 isnt

Do I need to do something with mibs? (Never played with mibs before). And
if so, how do I intergrate a mib into mrtg (or the os???)

Running mrtg under linux.

Ta.
