[mrtg] runasDaemon

Hi all

could someone explain the behavior of the new RunAsDaemon option in the
event you run config files in the background? If a problem occurs such
as SNMP unable to reach a device, currently, using cron, you get a mail
sent to your cron user with the time and date of the problem.

If MRTG runs into errors processing a configuration file after some
interval, how is this brought to the attention of the user? Does MRTG
just stop working?
